AV and Automation Equipment List Summary

We optimized the existing audio-visual system by reusing key components like the rack, Blu-ray player, microphone receivers, and Hisense TV, ensuring efficient resource utilization. The upgraded system now covers five distinct zones, each capable of independently managing music, TV, Blu-ray/DVD, and microphone functions, offering versatile entertainment options throughout the space.

Music System:

The installation includes two independent music sources, enabling different audio streams to play simultaneously in separate areas, such as the auditorium and bar. This setup allows for a customized atmosphere in each zone, catering to diverse preferences and enhancing the overall experience for users.

Video Display:

The clubhouse features a state-of-the-art video system with three display devices: one high-definition projector and two TVs, strategically placed for optimal viewing. All displays are connected to the central rack, housing two Blu-ray players and a Fetch TV unit. The installation of 8K, 48Gb HDMI cables ensures full uncompressed digital signal transmission, future-proofing the system for upcoming technological advancements. Each display can simultaneously access both Blu-ray players, allowing for concurrent use, while the Fetch TV can broadcast across all screens, making it ideal for events like the Melbourne Cup. Additionally, a spare HDMI lead has been pre-installed in the bar area to accommodate a future TV installation, ensuring flexibility and scalability.

Microphone Integration:

A total of nine microphones are available, with the ability to function independently or in sync with the TV, Blu-ray, or for presentations. This setup ensures clear, high-quality audio coverage across all areas, enhancing communication and presentation effectiveness.

Wi-Fi and Internet Connectivity:

To ensure robust internet access throughout the clubhouse, we installed a Luxul data network with an additional access point. This setup guarantees seamless Wi-Fi coverage, supporting all connected devices and enhancing the overall user experience.

Touchscreen Control:

The entire system is controlled via intuitive touchscreens, providing easy access to all functions. From turning on the system, changing TV channels, selecting movies on Netflix, to choosing music for different areas, the touchscreens offer a user-friendly interface. Additionally, Amazon Alexa is integrated for basic voice commands, offering hands-free control. The touchscreens also feature a built-in calendar displaying all clubhouse activities, allowing residents to easily check the schedule.

Automated Blinds:

After completing the AV system, residents opted to install automated blinds in the auditorium. These blinds are seamlessly integrated into the automation system, operating in sync with the projector. When the projector is turned on, the blinds automatically close, creating an optimal viewing environment. Conversely, when the projector is turned off, the blinds open, allowing natural light back into the space.
